The inspiration for the festival release 'Yam Daisy ' Gin

The Yam Daisy was the main staple food for the Wurundjeri Aboriginals, the local
tribe around Melbourne, until mid 1840 when the sheep ate all the
daisy’s along the banks of the Yarra River, wiping out the yams pretty quickly.

The gin recipe is unique drawing inspiration of the botanicals from the Convent and local area of the Yarra River and acknowledging the history of the area and people.
